Research Data Scotland (RDS), an independent charity set up by the Scottish Government in 2021, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation's next phase of growth and impact. RDS makes it faster and simpler for researchers to access public sector data, helping to drive better evidence-based decisions and improve lives across Scotland.
As CEO, the successful candidate will work with the Board, leadership team and partners across Scotland and the UK to shape strategy, drive performance, and act as an ambassador for RDS within the data research community.
RDS is looking for a leader with executive-level experience, a strong track record in strategy delivery, and significant stakeholder engagement experience, particularly with UK or Scottish Government bodies.
Salary: £100,000 – £112,000 per annum
Hours: 32 hours per week (four-day week)
Location: Remote-first, based in Edinburgh
